Games From Nigeria at Gamescom 2026
Supporting Nigeria’s presence at one of the world’s largest gaming events.
For Gamescom 2026, Narratify partnered with Hugo Obi, organizer of the Games From Nigeria pavilion to support the Nigerian delegation and help make its presence in Cologne as impactful as possible.
For the first time, Nigeria had a dedicated country pavilion in Gamescom’s business area, an important milestone for the visibility of Nigerian game developers and the wider African games industry.
Narratify’s mission was to help turn that presence into meaningful opportunities.
Ahead of Gamescom, we worked alongside the delegation to identify relevant industry stakeholders and create opportunities for connections with publishers, investors, platforms, studios, media and ecosystem partners.

During the event, Narratify supported the pavilion on the ground, welcomed industry professionals, facilitated introductions and helped amplify the games and studios represented by the delegation.
Our work included:
- Industry outreach and matchmaking, identifying and connecting the delegation with relevant international partners.
- On-site representation and networking, helping create conversations between Nigerian studios and the global games industry.
- Pavilion activation, contributing to making the Games From Nigeria stand a meeting point for people interested in discovering and working with African game developers.
- Communication and visibility, amplifying the delegation and participating studios through Narratify’s network and platforms with PR and content.
- Long-term ecosystem building, creating connections designed to continue beyond Gamescom itself.
The Games From Nigeria pavilion demonstrated something we strongly believe at Narratify: African game developers belong at the heart of the global games industry.
Our role is not simply to give African games visibility, but to help transform that visibility into relationships, opportunities and long-term growth.
Gamescom was one step in that direction, and we look forward to helping bring even more African studios, delegations and stories to international stages.
